When Bad Things Happen

I walked a mile with Sorrow
And never a word said she;
But, oh, the things I learned from her
When Sorrow walked with me.
Robert Hamilton

He who sings drives away sorrow.

You will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.
Isaiah 30:19

No words can express how much the world owes to sorrow. Most of the Psalms were born in a wilderness. Most of the Epistles were written in a prison. Take comfort, afflicted Christian. When God is about to make pre-eminent use of a person, He puts them in the fire.
